It was a thrill to get the acoustic tour with Pag. I remember hearing him on the radio when I was a young teen and thinking “this is really good!” We toured for a couple of years…just the two of us on acoustic guitars. We had discussed something a little more complex with me playing guitar, dobro and maybe lap steel but opted to just go with two acoustic guitars. Our biggest problem was how we were going to arrange the set list. Yeah…like “where are we going to put this hit…before or after that other hit?” ” Then we can play these two hits right after that…then finish the first half of the show with these three hits”…and so on for every song we played.
